Before I had the Harman insert installed, I had my chimney liner inspected. It wasn't in the best of shape so I had a stainless steel liner installed. We also had a "vacu-stack" chimney cap put on this year. We're getting a much better burn ( more consistent) and now now worries about CO

4 tanks of fuel under the house... WOW risky/scary biz

It's actually under the front porch in front of the normal basement.

My insurance company didn't have problem with it
