If I didn't say it before, thanks for your help in buying this, you kept me from pulling the trigger on a lesser fire arm, and then this one just came along

Next year I'll most likely sell my sigma and get a different 9mm. It's done fine, but after getting my 1911 and Tokarev, I love having an external hammer. I'll make sure to write down your pistol for future interest. My father is wanting a Beretta M9 and I wouldn't mind having one either. |

LOL. Nice bit of artwork in the bullets there.
Good lookin' piece! Have you been to the range with it yet?

No not yet. I went shopping this morning, bought 200 rds (100 remington, 100 winchester) and a cleaning kit, and went home and took a nap. Then I cleaned the gun of its storage/manufacturing gunk, and now its too late to go out.
Gonna try and go this week sometime

This is my first attempt to make a leather holster, overall I'm happy with this as a first attempt. I put the rough side out (mistake #1) because I read somewhere that it won't get fuzzies into the gun over time. The brown patch was added for support to keep the opening stiff. I hand stitched it by using a punch to open holes then running two lengths of wax thread through it. I didn't finish it off, mostly because I don't have any waterproofing stuff, and I will eventually brandish the edging.

Anyone have any experience with the Hornady Zombie Max bullets that came out recently? From the few youtube vids I've seen, they seem to have some nice expansion. Just wondering if anyone here has put rounds down range.
