spoken out of TRUE laziness, and knowing it gets damn cold there... i wouldn't get a dog if i lived in the 3rd floor apartment. That means 3 flights of stairs and going out q4-6h to let the dog pee/poop. no wayz. i'd wait until living on first floor apartment. LOL
(especially because it's so damn cold and you'd have to bundle up too!)

That would be my main reason for not gettin one if I lived in an apartment.

Now, I just open the back door, out goes dog while I wait in the warm kitchen. When he strolls back up I open the door and in he comes.

Good decision imho.

I love dogs...had them most of my life and have one now HOWEVER I also own a Townhome that I lease to another couple and have NO PETS in the lease and that's the way I want it. The law is different here though...I own it and can decide if I want pets in there or not. The reason I won't let them is because I don't trust people to be responsible owner's and don't feel like dealing with it.

In your case...I actually see the owner's point about you living above other people...pups run and play and that would be annoying to the ones below.

All of these people suggesting you get one anyway because the owner can't do anything...well in the very first post it states something about "unless they are a disturbance"...and the pup running around probably would be imho.

I'd just hold off until I moved. I totally understand you wanting a dog...my dog is cool.

Haha when I was a little kid my grandma would always cut up my rubber snakes with her hoe before she realized they were fake.
