Mirrored or dark smoke most times. If I know I'll be out past dark then I change it before I leave...otherwise fuck it.

Ditto, I HATE carrying extra crap around, so I opted for the 1000, had it on order for months. LOVE IT. Other than its ridiculous heaviness.

See above, its great for everything, but the weight takes some adjusting to.

Kell, most people look like a dork hitting up the turns. Half the time I get pictures I am biting my bottom lip and look like a damn chipmunk. Its ok, really.

Same here. I don't like the feel of glasses under my helmet.

I don't care what you say.... a dark smoke shield looks 800000x more badass, hands down... so that's what I wear. I do it for the kids, ya heard?

except if its raining and pretty overcast... then i'll suck it up and do the clear deal

Depends on the helmet i think... on my race lid, arai rx-7 josh hayes, def not... on my street lid, hjc ac-12 carbon vader, def

but even on the street lid I still use a dark smoke because the mirror shield ends up with the finish getting fucked up from normal road debris and bugs...

YUP! sucks hardcore... my shark looked PIMP with the mirror... but bugs fucked it up... and the only way I could get them off with out causing MORE damage... was soak the visor in hot water with lots of dish soap... let the bugs soak off then rinse and dry... ANY sort of scrubbing even with my fingers (not nails) would make it worse...

my new Shoei... they only make a light smoke... still thinking about it... but gotta see just how hard it is to change... as I'll be doing some road trips on the DRZ

I put a wet paper towel on the visor and let it marinate for a few minutes. Softens the bugs right on up.
