I told my mom I need to get it cut though It's just going to be easier to deal with since I can't take real showers for 6 friggin weeks. It's a hassle for an able-bodied person to deal with FYI- going down stairs with crutches is the scariest shit ever. |

Wow...I never said this, but thanks to everyone for the well wishes! Moira and my Dad kept telling me that there were tons of responses on here while I was in the hospital and it was VERY encouraging!! It's amazing how alienated a hospital can make you feel!!
Thanks Everyone!! Especially to Lori, Roger and Moira for coming to see me!! |

So glad you're doing better Heather! Scary times indeed.
I was on crutches for a while once and you will look at stairs in a whole new way! |

I hear ya! Being on crutches and in a boot cast for 3 months myself made me the most irritable person ever. When you're so used to being able to do everything for yourself and then having to depend on someone else for the most mundane of tasks, it's can be depressing and thankful that you could do those tasks....not to mention extremely thankful and grateful for those that help you when you need it. Get well Heather and keep us posted!

Hey girl....Glad to see you made it home finally and are doing well. I hadn't seen you in like 6 months but dang, next time just call and tell me to come out for a beer... I'm not that far from NB so if you need anything just call or text. I have no plans this weekend really....

The easy way, especially in the house... sit down and scoot down them like you did when you were a kid... just slower

Scooting + Broken Femur = PAIN. Not a bad idea though, but then I wouldn't have my crutches. My parents are cool, but even at 26 I'm not allowed to throw things over the balcony to the bottom floor |

Really, I remember you guys coming, but not much about the visit. I found a nerf gun and shit tons of little darts in my bags when I was going through my stuff today! Who's idea was that!? My dad and I were having a blast with it today! I am very thankful for that thing....my mom, not so much. |
