That's how a lot of the local squid-types ride at low speeds: they keep the idle turned up instead of learning throttle control.

Nothing like reving it up as you enter the gas station parking lot.

Got let people know you have arrived and you need gas.
loud pipes save lives
loud pipes helps pump gas
(They also help turn red lights to green...that is why you gotta constantly rev your engine at the stop light...especially fuel injected bikes)

I was walking out of a meeting last week on 6th Ave on my way back to Penn and there was dude sitting at a light doing that - I made fun of him doing that but nobody with me got the jokes. Damn corporate world

Revvin the motor came from carbs. But the trend stuck as a "habbit" or "the cool thing".
