Non-smart phone users? - Page 9

I have a half long distance relationship(he's gone half the time/home half the time) but for the 10 minutes I talked to him every few days, my cell phone does just fine. I haven't had a land line in 7 years.

Eh, you guys have just forgot what you're missing.

Wireless transmissions are just flat-out inferior when it comes to voice. Consider that nobody in the home audio business considers wireless speakers to be worth a damn.

It was the same when cordless phones started coming out in the late 80's. They sucked compared to corded phones. Still do.

I don't doubt that the sound quality is better. I am just not going to pay for a service I use at best, 2 hours for every two months when I already have a phone I could use.
