Why? Because she can shoot really slowly? I didn't even see what kind of grouping she was getting. Am I missing something?

eh, not really, its her first time at the range and was just a good time
she actually shot a pretty good group towards the end, the vid is of my 1911, after that the guys next to us let her shoot a .22 and she put a impressive group

Ok, that makes more sense. She looks prey good for her first time. She's a little stiff, but most chicks are when you hand them a 1911.

Depending on her size and comfort level, you can likely do better than .22. My wife shoots the hell out of my 9mm, but she's an Idaho chick. Setup properly (think Hogue grips) a nice little .38 revolver might be just the ticket. Either way, good on the both of you for getting her started.

She did very well. Nice control ( straight rise on recoil and right back down ) If she keeps at it, she'll be out shooting you Jeff |
