vs GSXR1000

Now this is a pre-prod version, but it looks like it is going to have a strong motor.

Cliff notes...

Gixxer 1k = 162.87HP
Beamer = 179.82HP

Graph is HP vs MPH, both bikes in 5th gear. Similar curves until about 150HP @ 130mph, when the BMW starts walking away.

That is impressive if it's not just a ringer. I now wonder what the torque graph looks like ?

Yea, that sounds really high but not impossible. Wow, if that's true I'd almost spring for one of those ugly fuckers! Of course the argument will always stand that you can get a GSXR and spend the extra $$$ to get more ponies... Still, almost 180hp whew!

Lessee, how much coin to spend to get 17 hp more from the GSXR!!?? Is 17 more at that point important to what you actually do with your bike? Anyone seen the rev limiter in 5th or 6th lately? Been on the front stretch of Infineon trying to pass Hayes or Mladin?

Oh I know, it doesn't really matter to me but for the sake of argument... If this is true, I can see a new Superstock champion in the works!!!
