Tell you what, instead of killing animals that we find inconvenient, we'll put out feed laced with morning after type drugs which will cause all the pregnant females to abort. You shouldn't have any problem with that, right?

Some people believe life begins at conception, some believe it begins when a fetus becomes viable, and some believe it begins at birth. For those who believe that life begins at conception the word is accurately used. For them, with rare exceptions, there is little differentiation between killing a 2 month old fetus, a 2 year old child, or a 70 year old. Without changing core beliefs about life (unlikely) there will be nothing resembling agreement on the issue.
