Yahoo sucks for search.

By "marketing website" I assume you mean one of those "squatter" sites where someone owns the name and just fills it with a load of links while he squats on it and tries to sell it to someone else.

No, I mean that if I searched for TWF and the link for TWF came up. Then I click on it and BAM, I'm on another site. If I hit back, click it again, everything is fine.

Virus, malware, DNS hijack.

Reboot, and see if it fucks off. It could just be a malware script that loaded.

Consider running NOSCRIPT under Firefox to prevent this.

I've gotten the odd diversion from completely clean systems. No idea how or why, but it happens.

Just fixed that on my dad's laptop and my in-laws computer.

If you're not PC savvy, download Hitman 3.5 Pro and run it. It'll knock out most rootkits, browser hijackers, and malware on its own. If that doesn't work, it'll at least let you know what file is infected so you can unregister, then delete it.
