Those damn carpenter bees bore out channels in our deck wood and holes in our fence. I don't bother them, though, since they don't bother me. It's just the mean-ass wasps and hornets that sting me for no reason that need to die.

Yellow Jackets are even worse because they bite in addition to sting (and they're carnivores and nasty mother effers)

Could very well be. There was mud nests on the wood in the basement from when they were building our house.

I don't think I've seen any of those around here. If I do, it's toast.

I hate them boring holes in my deck, for that they die.

But usually I do it mano e abeja and kill them by hand (well shoe).

Same here. I also have alot of fencing plus the deck and I'll see a small pile of sawdust and a perfectly round hole...if I see them they die too. Sometimes I spray in the hole...they fall out and I smash them.

(except for the large furry bees - those I leave alone because they don't ever threaten me)
Speaking of the large fuzzy ones - I wound up with one of those crawling around inside my helmet at 60mph once.

That had to suck. I was in the NC mountains leading two other bikes and my chest started stinging...thought I may be having a heart attack and when we pulled over at the end of the run it kept stinging but not as bad. We hopped on the bikes to pull out and the stinging got worse...I hopped off the bike and started undressing and a freakin' yellow jacket crawled out of my shirt and flew away !!
