Best thing I've done for my back in the past 10 years was ponying up for a really good mattress. We went with Tempur-pedic a few weeks ago because it was our favorite, and it immediately helped my back.

I agree with the rest, heat, and stretching. I also agree with making sure you are working out equally, not sure who said it.

Advil or whatever is OK, but really only masks the pain. You need to find the root cause.

I've gone through about 4lbs of epsom salts.

Think I'm gonna say screw it and go see the doc tomorrow.
