There is a 9k limiter installed. It is removed at the 600 mile service.

Yep, that is interesting. You are to limit the revs to 7K for the first 185 miles, then limit to 9K 'till 600 miles. Also, a "thumb drive" comes with the bike that puts it in "Slick Mode"....the "balls out" mode. That is not even mentioned by the dealer....just comes in a little bag with the handbook. Dealer's are prohibited from installing the plug (plugs in a connector under the seat). The slick mode is essentially the "full race" mode and you get 100% of the horsepower. I'm running in "Race Mode", which is fast enough for me, but I'm sure I'll end up pluggin' her in after the first service.
